SA: Outback town lacking medical supplies

Widespread rain in central Australia may be a welcome sight for farmers .. but medical
staff at an outback clinic are hoping for brighter skies.

Oodnadatta in northern South Australia has been cut off .. with most major roads leading
to the small rural town closed to traffic because of flooding.

A rare monsoon rain system passed through central Australia yesterday .. with the Bureau
of Meteorology reporting falls of 60-millimetres in Coober Pedy and surrounds.
