WHAT makes a top tourist destination? In the case of Hanoi, it's definitely the shopping - at unbelievably cheap prices. The normally- restrained TAN CHOE CHOE goes gaga.
I had never shopped so much in my life... I whispered to no one in particular as I put my sore feet up on the hotel bed, a sigh of satisfaction escaping my lips.
I had just chalked up a new record - seven hours of uninterrupted shopping and I felt so alive, so complete, so satisfied... and so sore. Even my voice had gone raspy from the hours of haggling.
Yes, the combination of old world charms ...
