(Iowa State Daily) (U-WIRE) AMES, Iowa -- A 21-page report on the state of global warming was released last week by the United Nations Intergovernmental Committee on Climate Change, and it is frightening. According to the report, "Warming of the climate system is unequivocal, as is now evident from observations of increases in global average air and ocean temperatures, widespread melting of snow and ice, and rising global mean sea level."

It goes on to say the problem is so severe and entrenched it will "continue for centuries."

Global warming is incontrovertible, and sea levels will continue to rise for hundreds of years into the future no matter what ...
