(Daily O'Collegian) (U-WIRE) STILLWATER, Okla. -- The Black Panther Party's impact on society is an important part of history, the co-founder of the party said.
"It's a part of human history in America," Bobby Seale said.
Seale spoke to students, faculty and Stillwater, Okla., residents Thursday night in the Wes Watkins Center.
The Oklahoma State University Speaker's Board sponsored the event.
Seale said he has spoken at more than 2,000 colleges and universities since 1967.
He said his speeches serve to defend and explain the Black Panther Party.
