AMCORPGROUP Bhd (Amcorp), a private company controlled by Tan Sri Azman Hashim, has emerged as the single largest shareholder in ECM Libra Avenue Bhd following its purchase of 128.02 million shares in the investment bank.

Sources said Amcorp bought the shares from the Ministry of Finance Inc's (MOF) Aroma Teraju in an off-market transaction yesterday for RM102.41 million, or 80 sen per ECM Libra Avenue share.
The selling price was close to 1.1 times ECM Libra Avenue's net tangible asset. ECM Libra Avenue closed at 80 sen a share ...
