Starbucks to Remove Trans Fatty Food from Shelves

BEIJING, Feb 16, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Starbucks Coffee Company, the world's famous coffee retailer, will remove trans fatty food from shelves within half a year.

The company's China-based restaurants had not sold such foods which contain trans fatty acid before August 2006.

Meanwhile, the company will keep the original price of foods with no trans fatty acid, according to the company's Greater China region.
