NSW: Rail work to spark traffic chaos in September

SYDNEY, Feb 26 AAP - Track work planned for Sydney's rail network at the same time
as the APEC conference in September will cause even greater traffic chaos in the city,
the NSW opposition says.

NSW opposition transport spokeswoman Gladys Berejiklian said some trains would be cancelled
while CityRail carried out track work on September 8 and 9, coinciding with the APEC economic
leaders' meeting.

Ms Berejiklian said she feared a repeat of last week's traffic chaos in Sydney when
US Vice-President Dick Cheney's visit sparked the closure of major roads and cancellation
of train services in the city's ...
