(The Utah Statesman) (CSTV U-WIRE) LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Despite digging themselves out of a 17-point deficit, the Utah State Aggies couldn't land a shot in the final 1.6 seconds of the game and fell to New Mexico State 72-70, Saturday night in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
New Mexico State enjoyed a tremendous home court advantage with over 11,000 fans in attendance as they won the WAC championship game, advancing them to the NCAA Tournament.
