(The Daily Aztec) (CSTV U-WIRE) SAN DIEGO -- For the San Diego State men's basketball team, the NIT might as well be the NOT.
It's a word SDSU's dealt with frequently the last two weeks.
The Aztecs are not in the NCAA Tournament.
They will not be hosting a first-round game in the National Invitation Tournament.
At least in the eyes of the NIT Selection Committee, they are not even favored to win their first-round game, as SDSU will enter postseason play as a No. 6 seed.
The Aztecs will visit third-seeded Missouri State at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the opening round of the 32-team NIT. The Bears went 22-10 in the Missouri Valley Conference and had non-conference ...
