Libbey's China Production Base Run into Service

HEBEI, Mar 22, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Libbey Inc., the world's second largest glass tableware manufacturer, announced that the company's production base located in Langfang, a city in North China's Hebei province, has run into service.

This production base, with total investment of USD 52 million, will focus on the production of high-end glass tableware especially for the consumption of wine, beer, milk, juice and other drinks, revealed vice president of the company.

Besides, it will produce other glass products like ashtrays and candleholders.
