As a youth, rescuing old bicycles from the scrap heap and restoring them to nearly new condition was a passion for Old Orchard Beach resident Bob Quinn. He'd add a new chain, fix a flat tire, make some adjustments and apply a fresh coat of paint before selling them on his front lawn on Saco Avenue.
More than 50 years later, Quinn is still fiddling with bicycle gears and taking them out for test spins. He is the proprietor of Quinn's Bike and Fitness.
