Policy The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association Committee
on House Financial Services June 6, 2007 Mr. Chairman, and Members of the
Committee: The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association1 is
pleased to submit this testimony on China`s capital markets and the benefits
for U.S. financial services firms and both the U.S. and Chinese economies
of opening China`s financial markets. Our testimony will focus on the goals
and objectives of the U.S. securities industry in our growing relationship
