Article: U. Texas dorm exhibit recognizes great Texas women

(Daily Texan) (U-WIRE) AUSTIN, Texas -- For the last two months, University of Texas students, faculty and staff visiting Kinsolving Dormitory have been able to walk through the Great Gallery of Texas Women, an array of biography-captioned photographs of women who have figured prominently in the history of Texas. This educational setting in the all-female residence hall teaches its visitors about the various contributions women, like rancher Hanrietta Kind, former First Lady Lady Bird Johnson and sculptor Marsha Gomez, have made to Texan culture.
