A microdisplay the size of a grain of rice - integrated into one of the hottest toys of the year - has earned Kopin Corp. one of the electronic display industry's most prized awards, the company reported.
The "2007 Imaging Solutions of the Year" award sponsored by the Advanced Imaging magazine recognizes Kopin, along with Wild Planet Entertainment, Inc. and Omnivision Technologies, Inc., in the "consumer and commercial" category for developing the Spy Video Car.
