Golf: Goggin's solo act a crowd-pleaser at US Open

PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania, June 16 AFP - When Mathew Goggin drew a solo tee time as
the first man out at the US Open golf championship today, he wasn't expect to draw a crowd.

So the Australian, who teed off at 10:05am - five hours and 10 minutes before tournament
leader Angel Cabrera and American Bubba Watson - was shocked by the number of people watching.

"I was totally shocked at how many people were out here," he said. "It was shocking
to me to be wandering around and all the bleachers absolutely packed for the first three
or four holes. I guess everybody's getting their vantage point.
