TCL Raises CNY2.3bn to Bet on LCD TV
HUIZHOU, Jun 20, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- TCL Corporation announces it will raise CNY 2.296 billion through a private placement of A-shares to fund its projects of LCD TV and LCD TV module.
In this way, TCL is to march into the LCD TV field with larger amounts of capital. It has planned to raise CNY 1.05 billion previously.
Of the to-be-raised funds, CNY 740 million will be invested in an integrated project manufacturing medium- and small-sized LCD TV module, CNY 650 million will be injected into another integrated project producing large-sized HD LCD TV module, another CNY 650 is to be used to increase the capital in TCL ...
