Born in the same era as jazz, Asbury Park continues its yearlong 110th anniversary party by saluting the genre with the 19th annual Asbury Park Jazz Festival.

TELL ME MORE: Despite being known as the launch pad of Bruce Springsteen and the associated '70s New Jersey rock scene, the confines of Asbury Park aren't foreign to other genres. In fact, the origins of jazz and Asbury Park date back to the last decade of the 19th century.
