Alibaba Taps into Advertising Sector

HONG KONG, Jul 05, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The revenue of Alibaba Group, China's leading e-commerce company, has been mainly generated by the charge from members. Now it is mulling to enter into brand advertising market.

According to Jiang Zhiqiang, vice-president of Alibaba Group, its B2B business marched into brand advertising in March 2007 and is in the development of advertisement resources.
