NSW: Sydney Dance Company director killed by garbage truck
EDS: Clarifies time of incident, victim's age, on updated police information.
SYDNEY, Aug 17 AAP - The newly-appointed artistic director of the Sydney Dance Company,
Tanja Liedtke, was today knocked down and killed by a garbage truck.
German-born Ms Liedtke, 29, was hit by the truck as she crossed the Pacific Highway
at Crows Nest, on Sydney's lower north shore, just after 2am (AEST) today.
Police said the driver dialled triple-0 and Ms Liedtke was rushed by ambulance to Royal
North Shore Hospital, but died a short time later.
