ASIA Poly Holdings Bhd, a maker of cast acrylic sheets, plans to invest RM2.5 million to expand its plant in Klang, Selangor, and look for new markets overseas to grow its business.

The Klang-based company currently makes around 500 tonnes, or US$1.4 million (RM4.8 million) worth of cast acrylic sheets per month.
Cast acrylic sheets, made using methyl methacrylate, are optically transparent, unaffected by moisture and offer a high strength-to-weight ratio.
