Q: I'M 37 years old, and have four children. I have skin pigmentation, freckle and pimples on my face. What are the causes and how do I get rid of it?
A: Acne or pimple is a skin disorder caused by inflammation of the hair follicles and the sebaceous glands in the skin. Sebum (oily substance secreted by sebaceous glands) trapped in hair follicles encourages bacteria present on the skin to multiply easily, leading to inflammation, and causing pimples break out.
