Locker rooms to get sinks after parent complains

CLIFTON — The school district plans to install sinks in the girls' and boys' locker rooms at Christopher Columbus Middle School, where there are toilets but no place to wash hands.

Last week a parent alerted the Board of Education to the problem during a meeting.

Now, the board plans to install sinks, board President Marie Hakim said Monday.

Hakim said the parent's complaint was the first she had heard of the lack of sinks.
