FED: Ping Pong proves a winner for indie band Operator Please

SYDNEY, Oct 4 AAP - Their hit Just a Song About Ping Pong is a throwaway piece of catchy
pop, but Gold Coast teenagers Operator Please are very serious about their music.
The five-piece indie rock band was formed in early 2005 by lead singer Amandah Wilkinson
to compete in her high school's annual Battle of the Bands competition.
Little did they know where that venture would lead them.
They won the band competition and have gone on to achieve international acclaim, touring
in Australia and the UK with the likes of The Go Team! ...
