(Pipe Dream) (U-WIRE) BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- The Binghamton University debate team solidified their first place national ranking last weekend as they beat out Ivy League schools like Harvard and Dartmouth in their third successive victory of the year.
The team competed in a tournament at the University of Vermont, placing first in the novice division. Last year BU finished the debate season ranking second nationwide, and a few of the team's students qualified for the National Debate Tournament, the most exclusive tournament in the country.
The team's recent success has been attracting tons of publicity for BU.
