Burberry Group said Tuesday that second-quarter sales rose 9 percent as it added metal-studded Knight handbags alongside trench coats.
Revenue climbed to 281 million, or $574 million, in the three months through September from 257 million a year earlier, said the company, which is based in London. But the stock slipped as Burberry said that it would spend about 4 million more than planned this year to improve computer systems.
