KUALA LUMPUR: The construction hoardings around the National Museum have been taken down, indicating that the 44-year-old building is nearing completion of its 18-month renovation.

The RM20 million facelift, which began last June, is 70 per cent complete, according to the Department of Museums deputy director- general Paiman Keromo.
The museum, which is the keeper of 250,000 artifacts, is now in its third phase of renovation, its first upgrading since opening its doors in 1963.
