SWIM: Graham's stance on drug offer claim taints innocent: SA
By Melissa Woods
MELBOURNE, Oct 22 AAP - Former swimmer Elka Graham is tainting innocent athletes by
refusing to disclose more about her drug allegation, Swimming Australia (SA) chief executive
Glenn Tasker said today.
Dual Olympian Graham claimed in a Sunday newspaper column that she was offered performance-enhancing
drugs by another elite swimmer while training just before the 2004 Athens Olympics.
She later declined to name the swimmer or specify their nationality, saying the person
had retired and any retrospective action was irrelevant, and she intended to stay "tight-lipped".
