WA: European museums lobbied to return Aboriginal remains

PERTH, Oct 23 AAP - More European museums will be urged to follow Sweden's lead and
enable Aboriginal remains to be brought home to tribal lands by their ancestors.
The Swedish Museum of Ethnography yesterday handed the remains of 10 Aborigines to
an Aboriginal delegation in Stockholm.
The remains had been found in the museum's basement.
In 2004, the Kimberley Aboriginal Law and Culture Centre's (KALACC) Ken Robinson led
a delegation to Sweden to collect an initial 20 sets of remains.
