(The Parthenon) (U-WIRE) HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Social networking Web sites have been popping up all over the Internet the past few years, and the Web traffic of these sites has grown exponentially.

While some students use these Web sites to cultivate and keep friendships, others use these sites to promote their interests, such as local music.
