Asia Poly to expand range of cast acrylic sheets

MESDAQ-listed Asia Poly Holdings Bhd plans to make cast acrylic sheets thicker than 40mm and launch new product applications to expand the business.
Chief executive officer and managing director Teoh Cheng Chuan said the sheets could be used for the furniture industry, gifts and souvenirs, interior and architecture design, and even for industrial use.
Asia Poly is also mulling plans to produce thicker sheets to make aquariums and even bathtubs.
Sales of these new applications would be promising, he said.
