(Daily O'Collegian) (U-WIRE) STILLWATER, Okla. -- After weeks of trying, SGA finally talked OSU's athletic department into allowing students to bring 75 underprivileged kids to an OSU game.
But the athletic department didn't give SGA free tickets for the kids.
In fact, SGA had to drag the athletic department through the process kicking and screaming all the way.
The only thing the athletic department actually gave SGA was meal vouchers for the kids.
The department actually made SGA pay $30 per ticket and go through its marketing program, Pistol Pete's Partners, a marketing program - not a charity program.
