OIL palm planters want consumers to pay for the cost of certifying palm oil according to standards set by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).
"As a RSPO board member representing Indonesian oil palm planters, I've put in a proposal that green premium be paid for certified palm oil," said Indonesian Palm Oil Association executive chairman Deron Bangun.
