FED: Have I got the worst job? I don't know yet: Nelson
SYDNEY, Nov 30 AAP - Newly appointed federal opposition leader Brendan Nelson says
he doesn't know if he has taken on the worst job in Australia, but he's determined to
find out.
Dr Nelson was narrowly voted in as Liberal leader yesterday with the job of rebuilding
the party following its election defeat and the decision of Peter Costello not to stand
for the leadership.
His close 45-42 party room win over former environment minister Malcolm Turnbull has
raised doubts about the future stability of the parliamentary Liberal Party.
