(The Equinox) (U-WIRE) KEENE, N.H. -- Michelle Obama, wife of Democratic hopeful Barack Obama, campaigned for her husband in a speech at Keene State College's student center last Wednesday.
In the speech, which drew roughly 125 students and community members, Michelle Obama said the United States has become a less hopeful place for everyday Americans.
"We've made it so hard for people to get by," said Michelle Obama. "You've got people struggling to pay for gas, people struggling to pay for rent... We're all drowning in healthcare costs. It's the number one cause of debt in this country."
