MELBOURNE, Jan 17 AAP - It's the new year, you've been carrying a spare tyre for a
while and you over-indulged over Christmas.
So, make a resolution to lose weight in 2008.
Despite good intentions, chances are you're not going to make much headway.
According to national research released this week almost nine out of 10 Australians
intent on fighting the battle of the bulge in 2008 are likely to fail.
Based on last year's track record, only 14 per cent of those who made a New Year's
resolution to shed kilos were completely successful.
