Gold Futures Will not Channel Too Much Capital from Stocks
SHANGHAI, Jan 18, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Many analysts said gold futures, which debuted on Shanghai Futures Exchange on January 9, will not channel too much capital from the stock market based on the recent transactions.
Xu Wenyuan, general manager of Changjiang Securities, said a majority of the gold futures investors are original commodity futures investors, gold processing and trade enterprises and a few institutions, but common investors are cautious about the futures due to the professional requirements.
