Philips Global Mobile Phone Business Became Profitable

BEIJING, Jan 22, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The global mobile phone business of Philips, the world's consumer electronics giant, had become profitable by the end of 2007, announced Shenzhen Sangfei Consumer Communications Co., Ltd., which is in charge of the mobile phone business of Philips.

In September 2007, Philips' global mobile phone business turned a profit for the first time. And by the end of 2007, Philips had sold 4 million mobile phones all over the world, said Mr. Chen, general manager of Sangfei.
