THIN is in! Apple's latest notebook computer, MacBook Air, measures only 0.4-centimetre at its thinnest point, with a maximum height of about 1.9cm and weighs about 1.4 kilograms.

Built in an aluminium enclosure, the MacBook Air comes with a full 13.3- inch light-emitting diode (LED)-backlit display and a full-sized keyboard with backlit illumination, just like the MacBook Pro.
The glossy wide-screen display is energy-efficient. It is also Apple's first mercury-free liquid crystal display with arsenic-free glass.
