(The University Star) (UWIRE) SAN MARCOS, Texas -- Joe Francis, founder and CEO of Girls Gone Wild, has not let legal challenges stop him from expanding his media empire into the print realm.
Francis, who is in jail on charges of tax evasion, will launch Girls Gone Wild Magazine, a glossy lifestyle magazine aimed at the 18 to 39-year-old male demographic.
According to Leland Zaitz, managing editor for Girls Gone Wild Magazine, launching the publication was an opportunity to experience the Girls Gone Wild lifestyle in a new way and to allow readers to enjoy a "behind the scenes" experience.
