(Daily Nebraskan) (UWIRE) LINCOLN, Neb. -- With all the recent controversy surrounding State Sen. Mark Christensen and resolution LR233CA, which proposed to eliminate race-based affirmative action in Nebraska, there has been a lot of discussion around campus about the problems of discrimination and prejudice.
Regardless of your thoughts on the bill, the fact that this was even proposed has given us a great opportunity to take a hard look at some really difficult issues. However, it would be a great loss if we do not go deeper than the specific case brought up by the bill.
