(Daily Targum) (UWIRE) NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. -- Members of the University's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community agree, the report put out by the Civil Union Review Commission in February, calling civil unions a failed project, is dead on.
"The civil union is named as such because it isn't intrinsically similar to marriage," said LLEGO officer Ian Campbell, a School of Arts and Sciences student.
The report, which came out Feb. 19, stated that civil unions failed for a number of reasons. The commission pointed out that people in civil unions sometimes have trouble getting insurance for their partners. It also said the fact that the LGBT ...
