(The News Record) (UWIRE) CINCINNATI -- The vagina: Something that affects so much, and yet, is so rarely talked about. This small but significant part of the female anatomy is the subject of the University of Cincinnati's on-campus production of "The Vagina Monologues."

The play, a series of monologues and group pieces, is a fast-paced, audience-engaging, controversial expression of female empowerment. "We talk about everything, some of it hilarious and some of it heartbreaking," said Kendall Karg, director and organizer of the UC production for the past three years.
