(Daily Trojan) (UWIRE) LOS ANGELES -- This is not exactly what the Trojans had in mind.

A match that was supposed to propel them out of their losing streak instead just added one more loss to the list.

The No. 10 USC men's volleyball team dropped their fourth straight match Wednesday night in a sweep at the hands of No. 13 UC Santa Barbara, 30-25, 30-23, 30-27.

The Gauchos (8-11, 6-9 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation) played one of their best overall matches this season, outplaying the Trojans (9-12, 6-9) in almost every statistical category and giving up the lead only once in the entire match.
