(Kansas State Collegian) (UWIRE) MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Kansas State University's study abroad program allows students to explore the world and experience new cultures while still cracking the books.

Elizabeth Ward, director of the study abroad program, said the main reason students study abroad is because it's the one time in their lives they can take advantage of living in another country.
