A French appeals court ruled Tuesday that Jerome Kerviel, the former trader that Societe Generale has blamed for nearly euro 4.9 billion in losses, should be released from jail while the investigation continued into whether he committed fraud.
Kerviel, 31 years old, is to be placed under judicial supervision and was forbidden to leave the region of Ile de France, which includes Paris and its suburbs. ...
