Exercise Prices of Stock Options Fall Below Market Prices

SHANGHAI, Mar 20, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Twenty-six listed companies saw their renminbi-denominated A shares have nearly slid below their exercise prices of stock option due to the consecutive tumble of the stock market.

Since December 20, 2007, 26 companies have launched employee stock option plans. As at March 18, only four companies including COFCO Property (Group) Co., Ltd., China CIFCO Investment Co. and Advanced Technology & Materials Co., Ltd. saw their exercise prices were higher than the market prices.
