KUALA LUMPUR: The sight of rows of police cars at the car park near Merdeka Stadium has led many to wonder whether the police have been allocated too many vehicles. But there is a good reason for this.

"Do not assume that the brand-new patrol cars parked outside police headquarters are being left to rot.
"The cars are parked there due to our men's eight-hour shifts," Federal police logistics director Datuk Mashuri Zainal said.
