(Daily Nebraskan) (UWIRE) LINCOLN, Neb. -- The new Gnarls Barkley album was a surprise to me in a couple of ways.
First, when I heard the single "Run" some weeks ago, I enjoyed the very soulful, Motown feel of the song, which is a departure from much of the material on its previous album, "St. Elsewhere."
Second, I was completely surprised by the fact it was actually released. It was slated for release on April 8, which was the date I was waiting for. Due to an Internet-wide leak of it earlier this month, unknown to me, the band pushed up the release date.
So when I went to buy a copy of the new Raconteurs album, "Consolers of the Lonely," (very good ...
