NT: Million dollar art heist a theft by drunken itinerants
Nights on the turps usually end with a dodgy kebab .. not a half a million dollar art heist.
But a homeless man in Darwin appears to have made history .. after allegedly helping
to steal Aboriginal artwork worth more than 500-thousand dollars while apparently drunk.
The seven paintings have been recovered about eight hours after the break-in .. in
bushland less than 400 metres from the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory.
