Doctor hauled up over MC

SHAH ALAM: A High Court judge summoned a doctor to court to obtain clarification on a medical certificate he had issued to a deputy public prosecutor earlier this week.
Datuk Syed Ahmad Helmy Syed Ahmad subpoenaed Dr Megat Shiraz Megat Abd Rahman, who had issued a two-day MC for DPP Wan Shaharuddin Wan Ladin.
Wan Shaharuddin is a prosecutor in Syed Ahmad's court at High Court 1 here and was handling a drug case when he fell ill. He went to see Dr Megat Shiraz, an ear nose and throat consultant at the the Columbia Asia Medical Center in Puchong on Monday.
